Azad Jammu and Kashmir (Urdu:آزاد جموں و کشمیر) or, for short, Azad Kashmir (literally Free Kashmir), is the Pakistani-controlled portion of Kashmir, lying west of Indian-controlled Jammu and Kashmir. Azad Jammu and Kashmir abbreviated as AJK and colloquially referred to as simply Azad.Muzaffarabad, the capital city of Azad Kashmir, is located on the banks of the Jhelum and Neelum rivers, The main tourist attractions in the valley are Athmuqam, Kutton, Keran, Changan, Sharda, Kel, Arang Kel and Taobat.
Taobat (Urdu: ٹاؤبٹ ) is a village in Sharda Tehsil in Neelam Valley, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. It is located 200 kilometers (120 mi) from Muzaffarabad and 39 kilometers (24 mi) from Kel. It is the last station in Neelam valley. It is also the nearest location from where Neelam River enters Pakistani territory and becomes River Neelum.
Taobat is accessible from Kel by unmetalled road. There is a motel of AJK Tourism and Archeology Department and a small number of hotels.
