Shogran is Kaghan’s most popular picnic spot, about 6 kilometers from Naran Valley. Shogran offers rich green meadows that add even more surprises to the journey. You cannot describe the spectacular mountain scenery and pleasant weather in words. Any tour to the Kaghan valley is incomplete without taking Shogran Tour.
The beautiful village of Shogran is located on a green plateau in the Kaghan Valley in northern Pakistan, at an altitude of 749 feet or 2,362 meters. The beauty of Shogran cannot be explained by the mountain peaks and surrounding forests. The Kunhar River flowing through the east had a calming effect on the site.
Shogran is an ice palace where you can relax and restore your soul. Pure white ice blankets and huge mountains gently reflect on the landscape in the sun. The bird’s eye view from the mountain is great. The beautiful blue sky, pleasant snow, and lush forest are breathtaking. When passing through a peaceful forest, the breeze passing through the pine trees produces a sacred whistle and has a calming effect, turning visitors into explorers. Siri Paye
Siri Paye is one of the greatest attractions and it is closer to Shogran. Equally quiet for couples away from the hustle and bustle of major cities. There is also a lake called Lake Paye, where tourists can ride horses. Moreover, Siri Paye is a fertile green meadow at an altitude of 2380 meters above the Shogran Plateau.
In spring, Siri Paye is in full bloom with different colors and white Makra picking background; it has become the best weekend destination in Pakistan’s capital “Pay” means “high grazing land” in the Hindu language. In winter, it turns into a vast snow carpeted land. The word “Siri” means “lake”; it is a small lake in front of Paye Meadows. In winter, Siri freezes, making it impossible to walk.
